The Montessori Preschool - Mangawhai is a small nurturing centre licensed for 35 children aged between 2 and 6. It provides children with a warm and welcoming environment to learn, explore and have fun.
Our purpose is to provide children with an atmosphere in which they can be creative and imaginative, whilst exploring their environment and challenging themselves in their learning.
With many years of experience and university training, our teaching team has a deep understanding of child development and a passion for what they do. Our Montessori teachers create a compassionate and supportive environment where your child can thrive.
Our Mangawhai centre is set in a beautifully converted bungalow, creating a warm, homely and welcoming environment for our tamariki. Filled with natural light and sunshine, the centre offers inviting indoor spaces and a thoughtfully designed outdoor area that encourages exploration, play and connection with nature.
The homely setting creates a calm and familiar environment where children can feel safe and secure. Our spaces are carefully considered to encourage independence, curiosity and meaningful learning, while supporting children to explore and develop at their own pace.
